Natures Treasures
For my 3rd year studio project I have decided to do a project based on rocks, crystals and the elements. The earth’s elements often affect nature in different ways. Over time objects change shape and colour when exposed to different elements. Using the visual references of rocks and crystals that have been exposed to the elements over a long period of time I intend to create a mixed media collection for fashion garments. The pieces produced will be inspired by the colours and shapes found within the visual research that has been collected. I also intend to expose some of the fabrics used to the same elements that have affected the objects on my visual research.
